It’s one of the newest guesthouses in the Vence/ St Paul de Vence area. We bought the villa in summer 2017 and spent that year renovating it, putting in brand new bathrooms, floors and furnishings.
Our aim is to create a haven for lovers of cycling, trail running, hiking and the outdoors and we would love you to be part of our journey.
Villa Rocamar took its name from the rocky landscape surrounding our house and our location between the mountains and the sea.
Situated in the beautiful hills overlooking the Cote d’Azur (the Préalpes), we have loads of trail runs, hikes and iconic cycle climbs right on our doorstep, including the bike route of Ironman France and the cols that many professional cyclists use to train.
We are situated in the beautiful medieval mountain town of Vence, a short walk from its famous Matisse Chapel and its many great restaurants. The village of St Paul de Vence, made famous by so many Impressionist painters, is a pleasant 4km woodland walk from our house, half along forest trail and half along country lanes.
We have four newly renovated, en-suite bedrooms, all of which can be configured as doubles or twins.
